Mark O'Connor RIP

It is with deep sadness that we today we see off one of our founding members & fellow paddler, Mark O’Connor.

Mark was instrumental in building our club from the very beginning, helping create not only a team but a community that continues to thrive today. His dedication, vision, and passion shaped who Cork Dragons are, and his legacy will forever be part of our club.

Mark gave countless hours, endless encouragement, and a true love for the sport of Dragon Boating and the community of cancer survivors on Cork, across Ireland & internationally. He will never be forgotten.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Mark’s family, friends, and all who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing him.
