Cork Rebel Regatta 2024

What an amazing day of fun, craic, and racing! I'm so proud to be a Cork Dragon . There are so many people to thank starting with the Lord Mayor Dan Boyle for opening the event.

Our Captains Carmel and Helen, our Coach Mark. Lucy, who captured it all with photos and videos, weaving through traffic and over bridges. Thank You.

Huge thanks and gratitude to Coach Mark, who put us through our drills rain, wind, thunder, or sun - whatever the weather, building our confidence, giving us wonderful advice, and constant encouragement. Even the thunder during our first race was Mags D roaring at us to get a move on. Thanks so much .

Don't forget Ciara and Trisha, for keeping the tea and coffee going. and a special shoutout to Marguerite and Linda for all the massive work involved in the raffle and cake stall. Well done !

Thanks to Cork City Search and Recovery. We couldn't do it without you. Committee and club members, helms, drummers, helpers, sellers, supporters, rafflers, bakers, safety folk, jetty helpers and paddlers, the music Cathal and Johnney and dance coach - everyone did their bit.
